Unexpected luxury begins here
I am more than a travel agent. I specialize in creating customized safaris in East Africa. My primary focus is Kenya but I also arrange safaris in Tanzania, Rwanda, and Uganda. It all depends on what you want to experience — the thunderous migration of wildebeest, the ceremonies of tribal cultures, getting up close and personal with wildlife at a conservancy, or a helicopter safari up the Rift Valley. All, and more, can be arranged.
There’s no detail that isn’t accounted for in every safari itinerary I create. That’s because for more than 20 years, I’ve traveled to Africa on my own, with my husband, with families of all ages, and with friends. I’ve experienced it with many different traveling companions so I understand what’s needed to create the most memorable experience for you and yours.
If I can’t provide the experience you’re looking for, I’ll tell you. Not only that, I’ll recommend someone who can deliver what you want and I’ll even make the initial introductions.
Planning makes perfect
We start things off with an in-depth conversation about your wishes and needs. We’ll talk about everything from who you’re traveling with, what everyone wants to get out of their trip, the reason you’re going, and when you want to travel, to any special requests, food allergies, and more. Once I have a thorough understanding of what you’re looking for, I’ll deliver a proposal with a full itinerary and budget within a few days. I’ll meet with you again to go over every detail, answer your questions, or adjust the plan depending on where the conversation takes us.
Once you approve the proposal, that’s when the real fun begins. I’ll give you all the resources and support you’ll need to make your safari seamless from beginning to end. You’ll receive information that’s specific to every stage of your trip so you’re prepared before, during, and after your adventure. Then we’ll have one final meeting a few weeks prior to your departure so I can answer any last-minute questions and make sure everything is ready to go.
Welcome home
Once you land safely back home, we’ll have another conversation so I can understand how the experience met your expectations. And if it didn’t, I want to know how it fell short so I can make it better for your next visit, as well as for others.

By the time you arrive at your destinations, every property owner will have been fully briefed on your wishes and special requests. And they know your full itinerary so they can ensure a smooth transition to your next stop.
Take comfort in knowing my support doesn’t end just because your trip is under way. I’m available for the duration of your journey to help make any last-minute arrangements — because things happen. Hand-held radio not working and you can’t contact the lodge owner to come pick you up? WhatsApp me and I’ll call them for you. (A true story.) A monkey stole your medication? No problem. I’ll arrange for a replacement. (Also a true story).
